Our new sawmill plant was specially comissioned and was developed and custom built by Weinig, the worlds premier timber moulding machinery manufacturer.
The computerised tool room holds a wide range of pre-set tools for a fast efficient order turnaround while the profile grinders combined with the new template maker replicate existing profiles or produces special, one off, made to order irons for profiles suitable for new build or restoration.

 Laser guided Multi Rip Saw
This saw incorporates various adjustable blades and is capable of being setup in numerous configurations. The use of this saw drastically cuts down on preparation time and improves supply and quality to the Powermat

 High speed Twin Band Saw
This saw compliments our Multi Rip Saw and is extremely accurate in sawing large volumes at high speed.

 CNC guided Template maker
This machine accurately cuts templates in under ten minutes either by scanning actual profiles or by using Gallad Design Software.

 Weinig straight/profile grinder
This is a high precision grinding machine which guarantees excellent knife to knife accuracy with a tolerance below 0.005mm contributing to the Powermats superior finish.

 Weinig Powercom Programming System
This software ensures that the Powermat is run to its full potential. It organises and records all setups , optimises production runs and schedules and ensures that profile information entered into the machine is accurate.

 Weinig Powermat 2020 Moulder
Custom built 8 head moulder which can run at speeds of 0-80 metres per minute. It is fitted with HSK tooling and the Weinig Powercom System which allows very quick changeover times for either high or low volume runs or one-off specials

 Dantherm Filtration,
This is a state of the art Cycloplex Filter System capable of extracting from three moulders and three saws simultaneously.
